Let me start off by saying I’m no expert. I’m no guru and I’m sure as hell not perfect. I’m just human, like you. I’m bumbling through this life just like you are, trying to do better all the time.
For better or for worse, I spend a lot of time in my head. That time in my head used to be completely selfish and emotional and self serving without considering the needs or wants of other people. I was a real douchebag for the first twenty-something years of my life.
Now I’m 36 and I try to pay attention everyday to being better. Improving. Some way, some how. I read constantly now, but never did in the past. I’ve always been drawn to the self-help section. I drink heavily from good podcasts and documentaries. I’m looking for truth and like everyone else in this world who has their needs met, I want happiness.
These days what makes me happy are my three daughters, my wife, my friends and pursuing work that I love. This work that I love involves helping men find confidence and clarity to take action toward doing what the hero of your own story would do next.
I’m disseminating ideas that I think make me a better person. I share what I’m learning and thinking about here.
I’d love to hear your story if you feel the need to share it. Reach out to me. If you’d rather just learn some of the stuff I’ve learned over the years to become a better, more fulfilled, happier person, check out the resources page at the top. Some of them have been monumental for nudging me in a new, more positive, direction.
